21st Amendment The new law for drinking

Well, if you are wondering what 21st amendment is, then it’s the first amendment in the USA that legalised consumption of alcohol! So this new gastro pub in Namma Bengaluru goes by the same name. Located at the centre of the city, Indiranagar, this is a must visit for its ambience food and presentation.

21st Amendment Overview

While don’t you worry at all about the parking as they have a valet parking service available. Located at Indiranagar, it’s a little far to walk from the metro station.

Coming to the ambience, the place is super awesome. The interiors are so well crafted just showcasing his talent on it. Small light bulbs hanging down, the colourful tipsy lights across the bar, the USA theme of the 21st amendment on one side of the wall and the statue of Liberty on the other side, all of this sure will make you oblige to the law.

The bar is right at the centre, they do have a dance floor but not on all days. The overall experience of the ambience is just perfect to chill

The food at 21st Amendment

While bakasura being a vegetarian we did have a few items from their awesome menu. The drinks are named in a unique way. We ordered cubbon park and wonder law along with an apple cider.

Both the cocktails were perfect with the right amount of alcohol. The wonder law cocktail was a smokey one.

And to much along with these cocktails, we ordered a few bites. The first one was the Virginia Cremé Soup. This is basically roast pumpkin soup. He just pours it on your plate and the taste was a piece of heaven.

We then ordered an apple a day keeps the Doctor away salad. The name itself was unique and the taste was splendid. It had green apple.

Then came along Paneer gattari. The masala for this was similar to that of a manchurian but however since the paneer was placed over the masala, it was perfect for us to dip and consume.

After having all of those starters, bakasura then moved on to the main course. Served with some stuffed vegetable kulcha, ministry of kulchas and paneer-qasar-e-puktan, the presentation was unique. The small bite size kulchas were a wonder to look at and cute. After this, bakasura also tried Singapore pepper, a wok tossed rice with fried Paneer. Bakasura licked the plate clean because of its flavour. A must have here.

Then bakasura landed on the dessert course. We ordered the Bulgarian Coconut Scufflé and the 007 local bond. While the coconut scufflé was gelatin and sugar free, the local bond was unique in all aspects. Carrot halwa centerd neer dose is deep fried and served with Brownie made of raagi along with icecream.
