Have you ever heard of animal assisted therapy? Have you? Well, this was our first time that we came across something like this! Wag-ville is one such pet service center in Namma Bengaluru that does this.
What they do sets them apart! They provide boarding, training, behaviour consultation, grooming, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy for dogs. With an offlwash dog park, pool and pet friendly cafe on a 4 acre farm, this place surely stands out.
Wag-ville also runs an Initiative called The Paws and Hooves Project – an Animal Assisted Therapy Center which provides therapy for special needs individuals (specially abled) through horses and dogs.
This Canine assisted therapy, equine assisted therapy and hippotherapy through certified therapists is one of its kind. The driving force behind Wag-ville is the therapeutic benefits people/Kids get through the interaction with animals
So What’s Happening?
As Christmas is around the corner, wag-ville is here with a Christmas event! Named SantaPaws Pet Carnival. The event is focussed on children and pets and help pet’s and pet parents bond with each other. This is an event where even families without pets can enjoy coming up close with dogs and horses.

So what all does santa paw has to offer ?
The various offerings include but are not limited to- Rancho, a horse experience where one can feed horses, interact with horses, go on Pony rides and take exclusive selfies
For dog and dog owner teams, there are exclusive fashion show, interactive board game contests, swimming contests, agility and much more.
Multiple fun contests for kids and a dedicated kids play zone is also set up
That’s not all, even your pets should feel special so they have a unique speciality grooming for dogs and cats
Also, you can take a dip in the pool with your dogs. And don’t worry as they have showers / change rooms as well
Looking to adapt? Take home a puppy as adoption camps are set up just for you!
Veterinary camp for dog checkups are also here. So bring along your dogs for a health check.
And you think that’s everything ? No no, stalls with caricature and portrait artists are put up to capture you with your pets. Customized merchandise like mugs, t-shirts, magnets, water bottles and much more with you / your kid / your pet’s pictures will all be available here. Multiple brands of speciality pet foods, multiple brands of pet accessories and toys will also be available!
With lots and lots of great food from various food stalls and food trucks for both people and their pets, this event is all set to welcome you.
The event is an inclusive event and will feature products made by special needs individuals. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund free Animal Assisted Therapy sessions for special needs individuals from underprivileged families.
