A Modern Village Themed Restuarant at Whitefield

So Bakasura Forever was looking for a unique themed restaurant in and around Whitefield. That’s when we came across this modern village themed Restuarant. Chulla bhatti grand was the one and amazing is what it was.

It so happened that November 6th was when this opened up and 9th is when we went. But the crowd later showed us how much noise it had already created. The place is located near KTPO grounds. Just above gipsy turtle. The place has valet parking and also parking is available for two wheelers. So let’s take you through the ambience. The whole theme of the restaurant is a modern village. So the entrance is also like a village homes door. And as you enter you get to see a well made. Ofcourse there is no water but it’s photogenic. Old cycles, paintings and great interiors make this place awesome. There is a tree made inside, across which there are tables. This gets you that old village panchayat feels. The place is extraordinary. Carpets on the roof, charpai, and classic village show pieces make this place worth the experience.

The grand village buffet spread

Coming to the food. The place offers buffet spread. With over 80 items the place was perfect for bakasura belly. The Buffet has some unique things to highlight. They are the live sizzling counter and the live ice counter. The buffet spread starts from a welcome drink. The drink was good. The starters were then served on the table. The unique starter were the falafel with hummus. The falafel were actually very good and bakasura loved it. The paneer in paneer peshawari was so good, such soft textures. The assorted tandoor veg and the crispy corn were equally good.

Coming to the main course. We first started with the live chat counter. The Palak Chat was extraordinary. Do have it as its Bakasura recommended. The tomato shorba was a good starter. We then went to noodles, tawa biryani and pasta. Both the pastas were super boiled and was extremely soft.

There was all types of indian breads with dal makhani, paneer makhanwala and shaam savera. They also had a choice of pizza. The overall main course was above average and didn’t disappoint Bakasura.

Then came the house of desserts. The options here for desserts were many. Mango panna cotta, pumpkin cinnamon pudding, gold coin, kiwi and red velvet cheese cake, mousse, newyork cheesecake, tiramisu, banana tart cream, jamun, phirni and rasmalai. Well it didn’t stop there. We also had cotton candy, lassi and different types of ice gola.

If this was not the buffet Bakasura deserved, then we don’t know which one is.
